On 1 July 2008 General Practice and Primary Health Care NT, the Top End Division of General Practice and Central Australian Division of Primary Health Care joined to form GPNNT Ltd.  

GPNNT is unique in the sense it has a major focus on promoting excellence in primary health in the NT.  GPNNT is committed to promoting a mulitdisciplinary approach to health care.
